Customer Service / Support Representative
Real portfolio pieces built during the course, not a certificate for its own sake. Each one is work you can show.
- Case log with tone notesTen cases written to a consistent standard: the customer's own words, the channel, what was done, and a short note on how the tone was handled, including at least one de escalation and one honest no.
- De escalation scriptA one page script covering the acknowledge, get to facts, act, and follow up pattern, with sample lines for phone and for chat, and the phrases to avoid.
- Billing and order issue runbookA procedure for the four most common billing and order situations: wrong charge, refund outside the normal window, item never arrived, and disputed subscription renewal, each with what to check first.
- Shift handover noteThe end of week handover from the simulated shifts, covering open promises, anything close to breaching a response target, patterns worth watching, and an honest queue count.

Description
Every CertClue course follows the same seven-part shape: fundamentals, the role translated out of job-posting language, a real working day, the job's recurring rhythms, a multi-day simulation, the portfolio you build along the way, and a handoff into your next move. Here is what that looks like for customer service representative.
Who this course is for
Anyone aiming to become a customer service representative, including career changers with no background in it yet. This is the entry rung of a realistic ladder:
Front line phone, chat and email support: order and account questions, returns and exchanges, first response to complaints, escalating what is genuinely outside your authority.
Handles the escalations the front line cannot resolve, approves exceptions within a wider authority, and coaches newer reps on tone and process.
Owns a team's metrics, staffing and quality standard, sets the policies front line reps apply, and represents support in conversations with other departments about what the data is actually showing.
Well, let's just say it's quite brief and understandable
