Keeps a project's plan, board and logs current, chases actions and dependencies, and writes the status report a project manager signs off.
Owns a project end to end within tolerances set by a sponsor: sets the plan, approves changes within an authority, manages vendors to their contracts, and escalates with options when a forecast moves outside tolerance.
Runs several related projects as a programme or sets how an organisation runs projects: governance, standards, and which projects get funded, and leads the project managers who deliver them.
