What you'll build

Real portfolio pieces built during the course, not a certificate for its own sake. Each one is work you can show.

  • Org configuration recordA living record of what exists in the org and why: each field, automation and related record with its purpose in one sentence, who requested it, what depends on it and the condition under which it should be retired.
  • Automation flow design documentA one page design written before the build: the business rule, the owner, the trigger, precise entry conditions, the actions in order, what it must never do, bulk behaviour, the test cases and how to reverse it.
  • Report and dashboard packThree to five reports and one dashboard, each documented with the question it answers, its filters and date basis, its grouping, its audience and cadence, and the limitation that stops the number being over-trusted.
  • User access and permissions reviewA completed access review for at least six users: what each can do in plain English, which records they can see, when they last logged in, why they have it, the manager's per-line decision and the action taken.
  • Change and release noteOne note per production change: the problem, what changed, the components affected, where it was built and tested, who tested it other than you, the deployment and validation, the rollback plan and the message sent to users.

Just enough of the model to function as an admin: what a CRM is actually for before you touch a single setting, how objects, records and relationships hold a business together, how a record gets shaped and shown, who can do what and see which records, how data quality is defended at the point of entry, and what declarative automation is really doing when it fires. Almost all of it transfers to any CRM.

Fields, page layouts and record types
