Free Cisco CCNA Practice Test (200-301)
CCNA is the associate-level Cisco certification and the usual next step after Network+. These questions cover all six 200-301 domains, weighted the way Cisco publishes them: IP connectivity carries the most, with IP services and automation the least.

Cisco CCNA questions people ask
- How many questions are on the Cisco CCNA exam?
- Up to 90 questions in 120 minutes. The exact number varies between test forms, which is why the objectives say "up to" rather than giving a fixed count.
- What score do you need to pass 200-301?
- Cisco does not publish one. 200-301 is reported as a pass or a fail with no number on the score report, and only a topic-by-topic breakdown if you fail, so any site quoting a cut score for it is quoting its own benchmark rather than Cisco's. You are still scored here: every practice test and mock on CertClue is marked against our own readiness target of 85% correct on a first attempt. That target is ours rather than the vendor's, and it says so wherever it appears.
- How long is the CCNA exam and how many questions does it have?
- 120 minutes. Cisco does not publish a fixed question count, and it varies between forms, but around 90 to 110 is typical. Some of those are simulations and drag-and-drop items rather than multiple choice, and you cannot go back to a question once you have answered it.
- Do I need Network+ before CCNA?
- No. CCNA has no formal prerequisite, and Cisco suggests about a year of hands-on experience rather than another certification. Network+ is vendor-neutral and covers a lot of the same fundamentals, so coming from it makes CCNA easier, but it is not required.
- Does CCNA expire?
- CCNA is valid for three years. You can renew by retaking the exam, by passing a higher-level Cisco exam, or by earning continuing education credits through Cisco's programme.
- Are these real Cisco CCNA exam questions?
- No, and be wary of any site that claims otherwise. Every question here is written from scratch against the published exam objectives. Sitting an exam having memorised leaked live questions breaks the non-disclosure agreement you accept at the test centre and can get your certification revoked.
- Is this practice test actually free?
- Yes. Without an account you get 20 questions a day, and the count resets every day. A free account removes the daily cap and unlocks the full Cisco CCNA question bank, flashcards, study notes, performance-based questions, a timed exam simulator and a readiness score. There is no paid tier and no card required.
