CompTIA Network+ questions people ask

Up to 90 questions in 90 minutes. The exact number varies between test forms, which is why the objectives say "up to" rather than giving a fixed count.

720 out of 900. The scale is not a percentage and the questions are not all worth the same, so you cannot work backwards to "I need to get X questions right".

No. CompTIA recommends Network+ first but does not require it, and nothing stops you booking Security+ on its own. The recommendation exists because a good chunk of Security+ assumes you already understand ports, protocols and network segmentation.

N10-009 replaced N10-008 and reorganised the material into five domains, trimming some older hardware detail and giving more room to modern network operations, cloud connectivity and security. If you are booking a test now you will sit N10-009, so practise against those objectives.

Partly. Ports, protocols, cable types and wireless standards do have to be memorised. The troubleshooting domain is different though - it gives you a scenario and expects you to pick the next step, which is why practice questions written as scenarios are worth more than flashcards alone.

No, and be wary of any site that claims otherwise. Every question here is written from scratch against the published exam objectives. Sitting an exam having memorised leaked live questions breaks the non-disclosure agreement you accept at the test centre and can get your certification revoked.

Yes. Without an account you get 20 questions a day, and the count resets every day. A free account removes the daily cap and unlocks the full CompTIA Network+ question bank, flashcards, study notes, performance-based questions, a timed exam simulator and a readiness score. There is no paid tier and no card required.
