Free CNCF Certified Kubernetes Administrator Practice Test (CKA)
The CKA is performance based: a terminal, a set of clusters and a list of tasks to complete. These questions rehearse the decisions behind those tasks - which object to reach for, why a pod will not schedule, where to look when a node goes NotReady - so the practice transfers to the real format rather than pretending to replace it.
10 questions, answers and explanations included. No account needed.

The CKA is a hands-on performance exam: the Linux Foundation scores completed tasks in a live cluster rather than publishing a scaled score. This 66% target is the threshold CertClue holds you to.

CNCF Certified Kubernetes Administrator questions people ask
Up to 18 questions in 120 minutes. The exact number varies between test forms, which is why the objectives say "up to" rather than giving a fixed count.
Linux Foundation / CNCF does not publish one. CKA is reported as a pass or a fail with no number on the score report, and only a topic-by-topic breakdown if you fail, so any site quoting a cut score for it is quoting its own benchmark rather than Linux Foundation / CNCF's. You are still scored here: every practice test and mock on CertClue is marked against our own readiness target of 66% correct on a first attempt. That target is ours rather than the vendor's, and it says so wherever it appears.
No. It is entirely hands on: you are given a live environment and a set of tasks, and you are scored on the resulting cluster state rather than on how you got there. Practice questions like these are for the reasoning; you still need time in a real cluster before booking it.
Yes, the official documentation is available during the exam, which is why speed matters more than recall. Knowing a page exists and finding it quickly is worth more than memorising YAML, and candidates who have not practised navigating the docs under time pressure usually run out of time.
Enough to be comfortable without thinking about it: moving around a filesystem, editing files in a terminal editor, reading systemd unit status and journal output, and managing certificates and services. Troubleshooting is the largest single domain, and much of it happens below Kubernetes.
Usually yes, because production experience tends to be narrow. Most people manage clusters they did not install, through tooling that hides the control plane. The CKA makes you do the parts your platform normally does for you, which is exactly where the gaps turn out to be.
No, and be wary of any site that claims otherwise. Every question here is written from scratch against the published exam objectives. Sitting an exam having memorised leaked live questions breaks the non-disclosure agreement you accept at the test centre and can get your certification revoked.
Yes. Without an account you get 20 questions a day, and the count resets every day. A free account removes the daily cap and unlocks the full CNCF Certified Kubernetes Administrator question bank, flashcards, study notes, performance-based questions, a timed exam simulator and a readiness score. There is no paid tier and no card required.
